Project Manager, EV Infrastructure

The Mission

Integrative Charging is a fast-growing EV charging developer, owner, and operator. We partner with public and private hosts to deliver turnkey Level 2 and DC Fast Charging across retail, workplace, hospitality, multifamily, and municipal portfolios.

We are looking for a Project Manager to own the end-to-end execution of our deployments. You will take the baton from the acquisition team and drive projects through feasibility, utility interconnection, construction, and commissioning. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on solving real-world, on-the-ground issues and understands that a project isn’t done until the charger is live and a car is successfully pulling power .

The Ownership

  • End-to-End Execution: Own the full project lifecycle. You are responsible for the challenging task of getting hardware in the ground, on time and on budget.
  • Technical Feasibility: Conduct deep-dive site assessments—evaluating electrical capacity, utility service requirements, and ADA compliance before a shovel hits the dirt.
  • Utility & Permitting Navigation: Act as the primary interface with utilities and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction). You will own the interconnection process and push through permitting bottlenecks.
  • Cost Engineering: Manage project budgets with a "should-cost" mindset. You’ll perform value engineering to ensure design decisions align with project economics.
  • Contractor Management: Vet, onboard, and manage electrical contractors. You ensure scope alignment, safety standards, and high-quality execution.
  • Process Architecture: As we scale, you will help build the playbooks, documentation, and workflows that define how Integrative Charging delivers infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

  • Infrastructure Grit: 5+ years in EV charging, renewables, or electrical construction management. You’ve seen what goes wrong in the field and know how to fix it.
  • Technical Fluency: You can read single-line diagrams, understand switchgear lead times, and navigate the nuances of NEC and ADA requirements.
  • Commercial Mindset: You understand that every day a project is delayed by a utility is a day of lost revenue. You manage schedules with a sense of urgency.
  • Ownership Mindset: You don't just report blockers; you remove them. You take responsibility for the final "commissioning" milestone.
  • Communication: Clear, direct, and responsive. You can translate technical hurdles for site hosts and hold contractors accountable to high standards.

How We Work

  • Bias for Action: We operate with a high degree of trust and low oversight. We expect you to identify issues early and solve them proactively.
  • Quality Over Volume: We prioritize "done right" over "done fast," but we strive for both.
  • Continuous Improvement: When a process fails, we don't just fix the project; we fix the process for the next 100 sites.

Logistics & Compensation

  • Availability, location, and your fit with the $95k–$130k compensation range with performance bonus.
